In 2005, the fanfare launch of the latest album GNR "Chinese Democracy" has been loud sounds, even though the audience did not quite know to what extent preparations. It was then, this is not his official biography published in the English edition. Four years later, a book by Paul Stenning was present before us in the Indonesian language-GNR, Band of Forgotten Time.
Popularity relentlessAlthough the title of this book presupposes ketenggelaman popularity of GNR, but for lovers of rock, the band certainly do not easily forget this one. From a group of exiles who did not stand out at school,"None of us is a popular school children in school-we all are exiles who gathered together and unite our talents." Axl Rose 1989. (P. 112)GNR hit the music world in the era of the 80s. Starting from Los Angeles (1987), it only takes no more than 2 years, their popularity soared through the album Appetite for Destruction. (P. 102). Then followed by their next album Use Your Illusion I and II. And in 1988, a full year, they spent for the tour. At precisely that moment they did not realize that the popularity of the band they have been dashed even beyond any band that ever existed.
